Background:

Katrina is a Clinical Psychologist, offering services in the assessment and treatment of psychological disorders and syndromes. Drawing from a range of effective, evidence-based therapeutic approaches, Katrina works to address the unique needs of each individual in order to promote long-term change. Katrina trained in a range of hospital, community-based, and clinical settings and has worked in private practice for since 2012.

Katrina’s style is empathic, collaborative, and adaptive. She adopts a goal-oriented approach, working closely with clients to understand their challenges and desired outcomes. Together, they address these issues flexibly and systematically to work towards lasting resolutions.

For her Christian clients, Katrina integrates faith-based applications of psychological therapies where appropriate.

Specific areas of expertise:

Katrina specialises in trauma and complex trauma, along with conditions and symptoms rooted in traumatic experiences. She works extensively with chronic conditions and lifelong patterns of dysfunction, particularly those linked to trauma and attachment issues.

She also has a particular interest and expertise in treating Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, sleep disorders, phobias and panic disorder.
