Contact Angela UtomoAngela is a Registered Psychologist, a Full Member of the AAPi and holds a Master Degree in Applied Psychology.
She works with a variety of therapeutic models including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Solution Focused Therapy assisting those experiencing personal, emotional, relationship, and motivational difficulties. She has worked with people from diverse backgrounds and has a special interest in working with children and young adults. She tailors her approach to suit the age and individual needs of each client, as there is no one-size-fits all approach to therapy. She encourages constructive feedback to improve the quality of therapeutic relationship and sessions.
Being trained in Community Psychology, Angela views each client within his or her social context and works collaboratively to promote well-being as well as empowering clients’ within their communities. She aims to draw on clients’ strengths and resilience in a non-judgemental and empathetic manner.
